You might have heard about the VIP Car Rally SCGM Lions helped organize. Our Lions District started the project in the district’s west end over 30 years ago. One of our club’s Lions brought the rally to the Scarborough area in 2017. We involved Blind Sailing Canada, and were happy to be able to send them part of the event’s proceeds.

And they said thank you…

On behalf of Blind Sailing Canada, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Scarborough Cedarbrae – Golden Mile Lions Club for organizing the car rally earlier this year, and for donating a portion of the proceeds to Blind Sailing Canada.  These funds will help tremendously as we strive to provide recreational sailing opportunities at an affordable cost to our blind and vision-impaired members.  Thank you so much to the entire Lions Club board for this support, it is very much appreciated.
