Our recent Lions Levee event was a great success! We had a couple of dozen people show up. The crowd included people from various social services, from a veterans’ care home to a community centre, and several in between. Many of the others have experience in staging community festivals. And some are just interested in better communities.

At our first opportunity, Scarborough Cedarbrae Golden Mile Lions Club will review the full list of project ideas. We will choose those we can manage, and send the others to other clubs for their consideration. Maybe we will work with other clubs.

Maybe we will work with you on your idea.

This is a quick overview of project ideas that came from the Levee. For those who attended the levee: if we have failed to capture the spirit of your idea, please let us know.

If this page gives you an idea for a project that our Lions Club might work on, please share your thoughts!

And if all this fun makes you think you might like to be part of the global leader in humanitarian service, please reach out to us. Every new pair of hands lets us help another 70 people. You can make a real difference.
